Jennifer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over six years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and their families with developmental, emotional and behavioral challenges.
Jennifer earned her bachelors degree in Psychology at California State University, Chico. She attended graduate school in the Bay Area at Notre Dame de Namur University where she earned her Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy. Jennifer began her clinical work in San Francisco focusing on supporting and empowering young clients through the use of evidenced based practices and play therapy techniques in a non-public school setting. During this time, she worked in close collaboration with special education teachers and paraprofessionals to identify alternative ways to help children feel successful in school, both academically and socially. Upon moving south to San Diego, Jennifer worked with foster youth in the child welfare system providing individual and family therapy. Her main areas of focus include ADHD, Anxiety, Depression and Autism Spectrum.
